N-Control Avenger is a plastic case for the Xbox 360 controller, but covering and preventing the controller from any damages is not its main purpose.
N-Control Avenger, a plastic controller shelf for Xbox 360, helps gamers not just by preventing the controller to be damages by external factors — but by giving them a better control on playing games.
To use the Avenger, just open it and put the Xbox 360 controller inside the plastic case and then close it. The texture around the controller is smooth, it feels like the Avenger is embedded to the controller. The rubberized pads make it comfortable to hold in your hands and gives the gamer a greater grip.Read the rest of the article »
The Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel may not bring a motor sports fans' blood boiling. But it is more convenient to use than the Fanatec CSR Elite wheel.
The Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel, a U-shaped device that is more convenient to use and more affordable than the Fanatec CSR Elite, is a simple lightweight controller that has an over-sized button or trigger on its grips’ backside. This thing is likely to clap against the back, as you smash the throttle because it has a low resistance. This means that it is easy to be accurate on the gas or brake.
On its right prong are the four fac buttons, on the other side is the D-pad. While the Start and Back are placed in the middle of the device with the Guide button. The L and R shoulder buttons didn’t make it and that is the sad part.
That makes GADG think what it would be for those gamers who uses it for manual shifting. The triggers feel great and as you shift using the D-pad, you might find it clumsy but it works. The Speed Wheel might not bring the most spine chilling racing experiences, but it is more user friendly than your average wheel and pedal setup when it launches this October.
But don’t expect it too soon; it’ll be ready by Christmas time in 2012.

"Should Xbox 360 hardware sales begin to drop off dramatically in Q4, or early in 2012 Microsoft will likely announce launch of a new system at E3 next year." --- Billy Pidgeon, M2 Research analyst

Is Nintendo really bringing Wii's price down to $150? Do we really even care?
Rumor is brewing around the gaming industry that Nintendo is finally going to drop the Wii down to $150 from its much overdue $200 price tag. According to reports from a “trusted source” via Engadget, the price slash is coming May 15th, less than a month before E3 2011.
Even though Wii is sitting on the top of the gaming console food chain year-after-year, the price cut is a much welcome move to consumers. However, that wouldn’t probably change the fact that Nintendo Wii still needs good titles to survive.
The Nintendo Wii has been around for a long while now, and with the rise of the Xbox 360 Kinect and the PlayStation Move, it seems like the revolutionary movement-based console is starting to lose its steam to the competition. Will the Nintendo Wii price slash be enough to nail the console’s dominance in the sales charts?View Article Source »
Xbox 360 discs are about to get fatter, as Microsoft frees up 1GB space for the developers' ambitious delight.
Remember Mass Effect 2 for the Xbox 360? Remember when we had to switch from Disc 1 to Disc 2 like it’s the PlayStation One era all over again? Sucks, right? Well according to Digital Foundry, that might change soon, as Microsoft’s unveiling an upgrade that will free up one gigabyte on its dual-layer DVD disc. This is something developers and players are ought to be celebrating.
The usable space on an average Xbox 360 disc is 6.8GB out of 7.95GB. The remaining space is purportedly used for anti-piracy measures and a video partition. But considering how well Microsoft has handled piracy over the years, they’re giving the 1GB away for the developer’s delight.Read the rest of the article »
