EA's Dead Space 3 will be launched during next week's E3

EA confirms the launch of the latest installation for its Dead Space game franchise. They are set to unveil it at nextweek’s E3 game conference, along with the game’s first footage.

Dead Space 3′s first game footage will be shown during EA’s own conference. Several game images have already leaked and spread all over the internet over the past year.

EA said in an interview with IGN:

“We’re excited to unveil Dead Space 3 to the world at the EA press conference next week.”.

Besides confirming the launch of the upcoming Dead Space installation, EA has been tight lipped on the upcoming title’s game details.

2K Sports is set to launch NBA 2K13 for for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PSP and PC on October 2

NBA fanatics will have to wait for a few months to get their hands on the latest NBA game. Interactive announces the launch of NBA 2K13 for , , Wii, and on October 2. Previous NBA 2K were also released at the same month.

The game developer 2K Sports has yet to reveal details about this upcoming game. NBA 2K13 is expected to be a hit, just like its predecessor NBA 2K12, which sold around 5 million game units.

Microsoft to sell new Chrome special edition Xbox controllers in May, to be available in three colors

owners have something to look forward to next month. has recently announced that they will be releasing  a , wireless Series controllers in the middle of May.

These wireless chrome controllers will be available in three shiny colors: blue, red and silver and will feature a D-pad.

According to The Seattle Times, Otto Berkes has ended his 18-year career at Microsoft on Monday. Kinect Sold 8 Million Units

Congratulations ! Despite the issue with regards to the , need not to feel down. Why? Their console, Kinect, sold 8 million units.

Steve Ballmer boasted that Kinect surpassed their predicted sales of 3 million. “We predicted we’ll sell about 5M of Kinect sensors… We beat that… We sold over 8M sensors worldwide,” he said.

It seems that the sales is still surging up and the company reported sales of 2.5 million units in less than a month. According to Microsoft’s big boss Steve Ballmer, the company has already sold 8 million Kinects all over the world.

Additionally, the company also revealed Kinect’s newest feature. The fresh feature called lets users control their avatar via Kinect’s motion sensing camera. He also said that Netflix and Hulu Plus will soon land on .

Microsoft Prepares for an “Avatar Kinect” on CES?

Glimpse Dog provided some snapshots of a leaked slide from Microsoft’s CES keynote event showing off the so-called “.” It is widely believed to give the Kinect owners the ability to interact with one another using their avatars just like ’s Home.

Be ready as Square Enix present the fresh footages from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It has been a long wait but it is all worth it.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution took a short break from the gaming scene. But now, few screenshots of its newest offering were provided by Square Enix.

It was a relief to see fresh gameplay footage of the Eidos Montreal-developed title. These footages were released earlier today.

It is not the same game released a few years back; the weapon selection changed a lot. Online rumors are saying there are more changes to come.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be here for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 sometime in early 2011 in North America.

Good news gamers! Xbox.com is now treading the path towards social media as it incorporates add ons that will allow friend and game requests.

Hey gamers! Starting Wednesday you’ll get to experience the tweaked .com. just added a new design equipped with social features, avatar and the integration.

The core features will all be the same but the social experience is really unrelenting. now comes with unified inbox, friend requests and game requests. Plus, you can customize your avatar.

Microsoft is also putting new parental controls. The “Family Reports” will help you “understand what your family is doing and how they are using Live,” according to a blog post by bigwig Major Nelson.
